Password Generator
What Is a Password Generator?
A Password Generator creates strong, random passwords that are very hard for hackers or software to guess. Instead of using names, birthdays or common words, it builds a password from a random mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols. This tool uses your browser’s built-in secure random number generator, and no password is ever sent or stored anywhere.

FAQ
Is this password generator safe?
Yes. Passwords are created inside your browser using the secure crypto random generator. Nothing is uploaded or saved.
Why should I exclude look-alike characters?
Characters like I, l, 1, O and 0 look similar. Excluding them helps if you need to type the password manually.
How long should my password be?
At least 12 characters, and 16 or more for important accounts.
Should I use symbols?
Yes, symbols increase strength. If a website does not allow them, turn off the Symbols option and use a longer password instead.
Can I remember a random password?
Random passwords are hard to remember. Use a password manager to store them securely.
